The primary materials used in Reflective Lullaby – Frankie are mirror-polished No.8 stainless steel tubes and sheets with a thickness of 2.5-3mm.

Len Lye Museum

Opened in mid-2015, the Len Lye Museum, located in New Plymouth, New Zealand, is a unique and impressive architectural work designed to honor the life and career of New Zealand artist Len Lye. Renowned for his work in film, kinetic sculpture, and as a pioneer in media art, Lye’s legacy is celebrated through this museum. The Len Lye Museum is part of the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery and was designed by renowned architect Andrew Patterson.

A distinctive feature of the Len Lye Museum is its shimmering façade made from approximately 32 tons of Austenitic 316L stainless steel sheets. These sheets reflect light and the surrounding landscape, creating a very special visual effect when viewed from different angles. Located in Millennium Park in Chicago, USA, the artwork Cloud Gate (also known as The Bean) is a famous public sculpture.
